Jamie & Family Portraits in Dillon

Jamie and her family came from near and far - Apsen, the Colorado Front Range and Hawaii to be exact - to spend Christmas together in Dillon, Colorado. We took their family portraits at the edge of Lake Dillon (the Dillon reservoir) behind the family condo. It was a beautiful winter morning with lots of sunshine and only patches of snow. Kent & Family Portraits in Breckenridge, Colorado

Kent and his family came to Breckenridge on vacation. The crew came from all over - from Iowa to California. We started the day at the plaza on Main Street in downtown Breck. Right next to the Blue River and the Riverwalk Center, this spot offers great views of the resort and mountain runs. The sun was setting, and we got this sweet starburst in the shot below!

 

After a break at Clint's Coffee House and Bakery to warm up, we hit this awesome wall on Ski Hill Road (the western continuation of Lincoln). Here's a secret: The wall's not old. It just looks like it, thanks to the historical character of our lovely little ski town.

Shane & Susan's Breckenridge Wedding

Susan & Shane got married at a private rental home off of Tiger Road in Breckenridge, Colorado. The location was quiet, lovely, and close to the gorgeous views of the golf course. The aspen leaves were bright yellow and changing with the season as summer turned to fall. What a lovely autumn wedding! These two lovely folks headed up from the front range (Denver area) in Colorado for an intimate celebration with their closest friends and family.

Mark & Rebecca's St. Louis Masquerade Wedding

Mark and Rebecca's wedding was held at a private residence in St. Louis, Missouri. These two creative folks orchestrated quite the smorgasbord of events, with a masquerade ball theme. Many of their friends helped with the performances, decorations and set up to make this a truly collaborative wedding. Call it a circus, call it a burner party, call it what you want - it was an awesome party. Check out the madness below.

Mark & Rebecca have been together since college, where they started out as friends and roommates. Each fall, they would host "Autumn Ball," a celebration of the season with their friends. This year, Autumn Ball was kicked off by their wedding, continuing old traditions and starting new ones.
