Cheryl & Family in Keystone

Cheryl and their family headed to Keystone, Colorado for some family vacation time. They used to live in Colorado but now the crew lives in Florida. So while back visiting their old stomping grounds, we took some portraits of them in the snow-covered woods. What a fun family! It was really fun for me to see how well they all got along and genuinely love each other. And you can see it in the photos as well. Enjoy!

Kent & Family Portraits in Breckenridge, Colorado

Kent and his family came to Breckenridge on vacation. The crew came from all over - from Iowa to California. We started the day at the plaza on Main Street in downtown Breck. Right next to the Blue River and the Riverwalk Center, this spot offers great views of the resort and mountain runs. The sun was setting, and we got this sweet starburst in the shot below!

 

After a break at Clint's Coffee House and Bakery to warm up, we hit this awesome wall on Ski Hill Road (the western continuation of Lincoln). Here's a secret: The wall's not old. It just looks like it, thanks to the historical character of our lovely little ski town.

Mud Season in Moab and Ancient Art

Before the temperatures rise, while the snowy-rain falls and that lovely little in-between season we call "mud season" emerges, a good percentage of the population of Breckenridge, Colorado heads from their vacation town to another vacation

town... Moab, Utah. This year, I was no exception... and it was lovely.

From a town that never really quite gets that warm, it was nice to get some sun.
