Senior Portraits | Summit High School, Colorado

Here are some of my favorite High School Senior Yearbook Portraits from this fall. Summit High School students Theo and Skylar opted for autumn photos as the leaves were changing both in the Front Range and up in Summit County.

And here's a throwback to Theo's brother Bross's Senior photos in 2012.

Heather & Brian Anniversary | Breckenridge, Colorado Wedding

Happy Anniversary to the lovely Heather and Brian! Here are some of my favorite photos from their wedding last year at the Riverwalk Center in Breckenridge, Colorado. Lawn games, dancing, and lots of fun were the theme of the day for this easygoing and lovely pair.

Heather and Brian met in 2006 and started "secretly dating" according to their friends! They love the outdoors and travel and this was definitely reflected in their personal style.

First Look

Flowers were done by Bloom in Breckenridge and the planning was done by Distinctive Mountain Events.

Old barn wood... Can't get enough of this as a background.

Spin Summit | Flow Portraits

I was asked to film the Performer Showcase at Spin Summit in Black Forest, Colorado last week (near Colorado Springs) and decided to offer some on-site portraits of the participants as well.

The Spin Summit is a festival/conference for flow artists- folks who dance and perform with props such as hula hoops, poi, fire props and more. So many amazing and inspiring world-renowned artists were at this event. All skill levels were welcome and accommodated.

The event is run by my wonderful and talented friend and collaborator Danielle Odette who makes sure the event is run with love, quality and community.

Here's the first portrait I've finished editing. This is Savannah from Austin, Texas. She spins poi, hoop and staff.

BOULDER!!!

I MOVED!
Diana Sabreen Photography is now based out of Boulder, Colorado. Again. And may I just say... it's about time?
This is where my business started over 10 years ago and it's good to be back!
Hit me up for adventure photography, portraits, weddings, families, headshots... whatever you need! I'm still available in my usual spots of Denver, Golden, and Summit County, and I love to travel! Lemme know where your needs are and we can make it happen.

It's good to be home.

Here's some flatirons, taken from my home.
Let's go make some awesome photos in these mountains.

Uncovered from Burma, 2006

Looking through some Burma/Myanmar images at the request of an international non-profit, stumbled upon this beauty that got buried among the rest. This was after 3 days of walking through the hillsides, sleeping in monasteries and as a guest on floors. I think these two found us as enchanting as we did them.

Also, another beauty...

Abby & Extended Family Portraits | Stapleton, Colorado

Inspired by baby B's first birthday, Abby and her extended family got together for some family portraits at their home in the Stapleton area of Denver, Colorado. First, let me show you baby B's newborn photos, which I cannot believe I didn't post last year. They are some of my favorites since we found these really serene nature spots. I think she looks like a sleeping fairy in the woods... See more photos on the Diana Sabreen Photography Facebook page!

And on to this year's One Year portraits...

As a photojournalist, I always have to include some candids and real moment in the shoot. B sheds a tear. I believe what she was trying to say was, "No more paparazzi. please."
